After graduating from Towson University with a degree in Communications, Brett began his career here at Blackwood when corporate focus was almost exclusively on the Federal market. A little over a year post arrival, he was asked to step outside of US Federal in pursuit of developing alternate markets. Scope was initially focused on mid-atlantic enterprise accounts and quickly expanded into State, Local, and Higher Education market segments. His team is now distributed from New York to Florida and out to the Mississippi River with customer concentration in many of the most highly targeted verticals.  


As Vice President of Commercial Sales, Brett’s primary responsibilities include divisional oversight, vendor alignment, territory planning, and active management of his geographically dispersed team. What time remains is spent on health and overall wellness, being the best possible husband and father, complaining about the Ravens, and boating with friends. An Annapolis Native, today Brett resides on Kent Island MD with his wife and two children.
